Non-fiction books can be either scholarly or popular. Scholarly books are written for scholars in the field and would be considered primary or secondary sources. Popular books are written for a general audience and would be considered tertiary. You can find both types of books in our online catalog or in the library.
Classifying the Cosmos: How We Can Make Sense of the Celestial Landscape by
Since the invention of the telescope 400 years ago, astronomers have rapidly discovered countless celestial objects. But how does one make sense of it all? Astronomer and former NASA Chief Historian Steven J. The book next looks at tobacco smoking and second hand smoke, again reviewing the history of how these problems were identified scientifically and the fierce industry push back against the science.
