This guide will explain how the Library of Congress call number system works in order to find a book on the shelf.

Buley Library uses the Library of Congress call number system for most of its collection. A small collection of juvenile fiction books which are on the third floor of the library uses the Dewey call number system. This guide will help you understand the Library of Congress call number system and how books are arranged on our shelves.
