CQ Researcher Database Search Tutorial: Home

This tutorial will show you how to search the CQ Researcher Database. For your convenience there are two separate tutorials for basic search and advanced search.

What is CQ Researcher?

CQ Researcher is an excellent database for current issues. It provides in-depth, comprehensive reports on a wide range of topics. Some of the reports date back to 1923.

To access the database, begin at the Buley Library Home Page and select "More Databases" under "Popular Databases" on the left panel. This will take you to the databases page. Our databases are grouped in alphabetical order, by subject, by type, and by vendor. Click on the "C" tab in the A-Z list and scroll down to select CQ researcher from the list of "C" databases. Click on "Accessing CQ Researcher Database" tab above to view a video on how to access the database.

Please note that off-campus users will be prompted a username and password.

To learn how to do a basic search in the CQ Researcher database, click on the CQ Researcher Basic Search Tutorial tab above.

Please select the "CQ Researcher Database Advanced Search Tutorial" tab above if you wish to take the Advanced tutorial.
