General Information

Group Study Rooms are made available to SCSU students, faculty and staff who want a place where they can work collaboratively on assignments and projects.

These study rooms are intended for groups of 2 or more. Library patrons who want to study alone are encouraged to use the 2nd floor quiet area. Library staff may ask single or double occupants to vacate the room if needed by a larger group. Rooms are not intended for recurring classroom instruction; faculty should contact the registrar if a classroom is needed.

Southern students, faculty and staff can book rooms online from on or off campus. Rooms can be booked for two (2) 1-hour slots on the current day (i.e. up to 2 hours per day). Contact the Circulation Desk at (203)392-5756 for additional help or information.
