AMA Citation Style

AMA stands for American Medical Association. AMA style is widely used in medicine and related health fields and many scientific journals and in academia. Together with APA and CSE style, it is one of the major citation styles used.

In-text references are numbered in consecutive order.

The superscript number is inserted in the document immediately after the part being cited.

If more than one reference is cited at the same point, separate the numbers with commas and no spaces in between.
