The Library of Congress (LC) classification scheme is used in Buley Library as well as most academic libraries in the United States. It provides a method of assigning call numbers to library books and materials. It is an alpha-numeric system, meaning that it uses both letters and numbers.
The LC designation for ART is N. Additional areas for Art Education include the T section for Photography and Arts and Crafts and the L designation for Education.
