Law Librarian's Guide to Nursing Law

Law Librarian Sue Clerc has put together handouts for using the most useful legal sources to find cases, articles, laws, statutes, and regulations. She also recommends Wikipedia to get an overview on a particular case--the entries are standarized, with links to case documents and the info you would need to look the case up in the more formal sources: specific names and other identifying terms, specific court jurisdiction, history and progression through the court system, etc.

You can also look up articles on court cases and legal issues in CINAHL, using the legal-related terms in a normal search.

Contact Sue Clerc if you need assistance with legal sources and information.
