Europeana - Europe's cultural heritage

Resource: Europeana is a European Commision project (housed at the National Library of the Netherlands) dedciated to making the cultural and scientific heritage of Europe accessible to the public. 180 institutions have contributed images, texts, and video to the project.

License: Unless specifically noted, materials can be shared and modified as long as proper attribution is made and any resulting works are non-commercial and distributed under the same Terms of Use.

Additional info: Exhibitions, a Timeline, and a Newsletter, which profiles differenct collections and subjects, are also available. The website is available in multiple languages.
